‘Broken Vessels’
Air dry clay, Lino cut print, Acrylic paint

Created using air dry clay, printed from a lino cut, using acrylic ink.

The inside is painted with acrylic paint in total contrast to the outside, to highlight the form as a wall or boundary containing a vibrant, exciting lining.
‘All Different In Some Way’
Stoneware, Glaze
Range from 3 - 10cm in height & 3 - 10cm in width
2024
‘Now go and make 30 pots’ was the instruction!
These 30 pinch pots are made from stoneware clay. Each one has an identity keeping it individual, but joined to the others because of the material.
They are glazed using a white made up glaze on the outside and some have a metallic glaze on the inside.
‘The River of Life’
Ai dry clay, Lino cut print, Spray paint
34 x 11cm
2024
Formed from air dry clay, this piece has a base of ‘waves’ with sections resting in the lowest parts to suggest a time period. The solid tubular forms are wrapped with thread, wound round to give the message that, in life, episodes stop the flow and form moments of memories.
‘Threads of Deceit’
Hand thrown pot, Wool thread
12 x 6cm
2024
Hand thrown pot wrapped in woolen thread. The wool is threaded through holes made in the pot after drying. There is no base to the pot, allowing holes to be added within the sides. Using multiple colours suggests mixed thoughts and emotions, filling the pot from top to bottom with a web of deceit
